Hear no evil. I got some help from Trev and did a whole bunch of more effective stuff on this one. Now I just have to try to remember what it all was. hehe
Ok, so I used the eye dropper tool to select skin colour to make it look smooth and pale, and the proceeded to fix spots and inconsistencies with a very small brush tool.
I didn't want to change my imperfections, I wanted to make it look unreal. To match the concept of see no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil. That concept is unrealistic, because you can't avoid those three things.
I also used to polygonal lasso tool to select the face so I could make it look even more pale and like a china doll. After doing that, I selected a colour close to white but a bit off, and filled it in. Then I had to play with layer options (normal, dissolve, etc.) and ended up using a soft light at about 50% opacity. Then from the filters menu I used the blur more/gaussian blur. I added the gradient filter in black, and the text in blue.
